Free Comic Book Day is an event held on the first Saturday of every May where participating comic book stores give out free comic books.
For Free Comic Book Day 2011, I visited Meltdown Comics and Collectibles in West Hollywood, CA.
They had statues of the Skeksis creatures from the movie The Dark Crystal on display to celebrate the release of the new comic based on the film.
